LIBRARY OF THINGS

The Greenlee County Library System now has "things" you can check out at all three public libraries. Stop by soon and see the Adventure Backpacks, Games, and STEAM kits that are available to check out.

Also check out the new Chromebooks at the Duncan and Clifton Libraries. 


STORY WALKS

Story Walks are now available at the RV Park in Clifton, at Loma Linda Park, at the Blue Library and coming soon, one at Veterans Park in Duncan. You can walk with your child and read books along the way. Please fill out a survey at the end each time your visit. You can do a paper survey or use your smartphone to complete one on line.


FREE DIGITAL MAGAZINES AND BOOKS

Instructions for Downloading the Libby, by OverDrive app.
1. Use the Google Playstore or Applestore to download the Libby, by Overdrive app
 2. Once installed open the Libby app
3. Follow the Libby prompts, “Yes, I have a Library Card”

4. Search for your Library –When you open Libby for the first time, you'll search for your library. Enter your library card when prompted. Then, you can explore the collection and borrow titles or place holds instantly.

On your Shelf, you'll find all your loans, holds, and tags.By default, loans are automatically downloaded for offline use when you're on Wi-Fi.Your loans are returned automatically on their due dates, so you never need to worry about late fees.Tap Manage Loan to see more options for each title (like returning early).Tap a title to open it and start reading. If you belong to a library in the United States, you'll see the option to send most ebooks to Kindle, or to start reading in Libby.Use the footer to search, visit your library, access your Shelf, and see your timeline. You can also open your current read. In the Libby menu, you can see your notifications, add a library, get help, and more.

The Arizona Coalition for Military Families is a public/private partnership focused on building Arizona's capacity to care for American Flag imageand support all service members, veterans, their families and communities.  It helps to make sure that every service member, veteran and family member is connected to the right resource at the right time.

If you are a Veteran or family member and need computer access, our librarians are certified as Military/Veteran Resource Navigators. Stop by the Duncan or Clifton Public Libraries to use a computer and our librarians will be glad to help you get your account set up.

HeinOnline is an online database available for use on Duncan  and Clifton Library computers. It containins more than 176 million pages and 270,000 titles of historical and government documents in a fully searchable, image-based format. HeinOnline bridges an important research gap by providing comprehensive coverage from inception of more than 2,700 law-related periodicals. HeinOnline contains the entire Congressional Record, Federal Register, and Code of Federal Regulations, complete coverage of the U.S. Reports back to 1754, and entire databases dedicated to treaties, constitutions, case law, world trials, classic treatises, international trade, foreign relations, U.S. Presidents, and much more. Only availble to the public on library computers.
